I talked my company into ordering me a pair of vessi shoes because I wanted a more comfortable water proof shoe to wear since I run a carwash. I've worn muck boots for years now and wanted a comfortable dry tennis shoe. Unfortunately the shoes do not live up to their reviews and are absolutely not water proof. Water resistant, yes. Water proof, not even close. I'm sad that these shoes didn't live up to my expectations because not only did I cost my company 100+ dollars that I could've just spent on my reliable muck boots. I now have to either spend out of pocket for more boots or deal with wet stinky feet and admit loss for my company. They are absolutely comfortable but not worth 100+ dollars for the false water proof claim. Just to clarify my Shoes are not "no longer water proof due to damage" my shoes are still in great condition and have no rips or damages to cause them to not live up to the company claims.

I orderd a pair of shoes on the 6th of January, at the end of the month I emailed them to ask the status of this delivery. Since i orderd from the netherlands and theyre a north american company i figured it would take long so it was no big deal to me at the time. They replied that it was taking a bit longer with apologies for the long wait. After this i send serveral more emails over a period asking for status updates with replies of them being sorry and asking me to be a little bit more patient. Then at march 13th i got a reply that they could confirm my package was lost and they were offering me a 40% refund. I told them several times politly that i would not take this offer since THEY lost my package and im not paying for a product i did not receive (which is an absurd thing to even suggest to a customer imo). After some more emails i finally accepted a 50% refund because it would cost me more to challange this than the order was worth so i accepted at march 17th. Now that im writing this review it is the 2nd of may and i still have not received any money back. It is a big old scam and i hope others dont fall for this like i did.

I purchased ‘Vessi women’s every day move breezy’ runners in August 2022. At first I wasn’t sure I purchased the correct size but as others have mentioned they do loosen a little bit after a few wears so I decided to keep them. We walk minimum 5k every day but I wear different shoes depending on the weather and temperature. I find them very comfortable HOWEVER the main reason I bought them is the claim that they are WATERPROOF. They are NOT WATERPROOF. I didn’t jump in any puddles, in fact just walked
through wet grass in the park and half my foot from toes down is wet. For the price they cost and the claim they are waterproof I do not recommend this brand and will continue to search for a better shoe.
PS I’ve only worn them about a dozen times.

May 6 update
Immediate and incredible service from Vessi who conducted several tests and deemed my runners to have a defect in the knit. New pair was sent and I will report back to update.

Gotta say, I LOVE my Vessi Weekend Sneakers. I bought them last summer to 'test drive' them with the hopes of taking them on a big vacay I was planning: 2 months traipsing around South America. Heard they fit a little large for women - I usually wear 9.5W, so I got size 9 & they were perfect. They were FANTABULOUS! Comfortable day-in/day-out, easy to slip on/off at airport security, my feet were dry with surprise rainshowers (or splashes & puddles at Iguazu Falls), but also not too hot when the 40-degree Celsius weather hit Buenos Aires. I got the tan colour for a little extra style (so they didn't look too 'sneakery') and found I could wear them with everything from pants to shorts to skirts to dresses! And, when I got home, threw them in the washer (per their instructions) and they were like new again! I'm now planning to buy a pair for each person in my family :-) One question: Have you considered making golf shoes? Wore my Vessis on a girls golf getaway and when I arrived, realized I'd forgotten to bring my golf shoe bag. Wore the Vessis to play and my feet were totally dry and comfortable through 3 days of golfing! If they had a bit more traction, they'd be the perfect golf shoe... just sayin'! You should look into it! Anyhow, thank you - this is my new favourite shoe brand!

The customer service I experienced with Vessi was outstanding! Responses were timely, the exchange was quick and all my questions were answered. They have my family as customers for life.
With Washington state weather Vessi shoes are perfect!

There are a lot of problems with the website. It asks me to register and says it doesn't have a record of my email. I try to register it says it already has my email registered. Sort this out. Also I can only order using PayPal and I can't verify my account.

I was very happy with my customer service, delivery time and the quality of my shoes. Very comfortable, vegan and well made :)

This review is based on my experience with three pairs of VESSI shoes.
Pros:
1. VERY convenient shoe for city life - surfaces such as asphalt, concrete, office, and mall floors.
2. Easy to put on and take off due to their stretchable material and lack of laces.
Cons:
1. Poor customer service experience when needed to replace a defective (leaking) pair. Took me 1-2 hours of active communication with the company and 4 weeks of waiting time for a replacement pair.
2. The shoes are advertised as waterproof but do not live up to this claim, as my socks would get wet in just 40 minutes or walk in moderate rain or 40 min after stepping into the water on a sunny day.
3. The shoes are not suitable for any active sports, as they are very stretchable and lack grip on surfaces. They can also be dangerous on steep hills, causing them to stretch sizes up and become unstable.

Conclusion:
VESSI shoes are a convenient option for day-to-day use in the city, but they are not suitable for any active sports and are only mildly water-resistant.
For the price tag, one can purchase high-end specialized pair of shoes, which VESSI does not even stand close to.

I made a big mistake getting the White Vessis. They are comfortable so far but I have only worn them a few times and they get incredibly dirty. I have other white sneakers and they do not mark the same way. I haven't tested them in the rain but a friend of mine (we setup in the store actually) told me that hers aren't waterproof at all. I'm about to do a walking tour in the UK and was counting on these keeping my feet dry so now I am concerned I will have soggy feet and extremely dirty shoes for my trip. I will probably have to take a second pair of shoes. I'll rewrite this review after my trip.

Don’t buy the white shoes!!! After only a few weeks they were dirty and I have tried everything that Vessie suggested and nothing worked. I am going to have to throw them out. Such a waste of money because I didn’t even get to wear them for very long. Company said they will not exchange or take them back after being worn.

I bought 2 pairs of Vessi shoes, one pair for me and the other for my wife. Let me start off by saying they are absolutely not waterproof, the sizing is ok but they are not comfortable. I also noticed they are way overpriced. Do yourself a favour and order similar shoes from another vendor. For the money I paid it’s not worth it. Chinese made and they are already starting to fall apart. If you are a Noth American company then make your shoes in North America.

Absolutely looooove Vessie shoes. I have one pair (weekends) that I have had for about two years now. They are still in great shape and I still wear them almost everyday, and they are still waterproof. The quality is just amazing! Service is great and delivery fast.

Recently bought the Broadwalks and they are so pretty. They fit snuggly around my feet, which makes them the perfect and cutest summer shoe.

I would recommend Vessi to everyone.

Simply horrible. Please do not order from these charlatans. Not only did they send me a scarf instead of shoes they then refused to send my shoes, or give me a refund without me having to pay for posting the scarf back to China… simply terrible service. I have no idea if the shoes are any good as I never even received them but I suspect all the reviews on their site are probably bogus too.

UPDATE: Thanks for the reply Vessi but have you heard the phrase... No s... Sherlock!! You need to do more on your website to alert people to this scam!!! Thanks for starting the blooming obvious.
